The Time I Felt Most Proud

One day last summer, my mom told me we were going to visit my grandparents who live on a farm. I was really excited because I love going to their farm and playing outside. When we got there, my grandpa asked if I wanted to help him feed the chickens. Of course I said yes!

He gave me a big bucket of chicken feed and showed me how to scatter it around the chicken coop. The chickens came running over, clucking and pecking at the ground. I was being very careful not to get too close because I know chickens can peck.
