Insomefamilies,ifateenagerdecidestobecomeavegetarian,theymaydosopartlyoutofaspiritofrebellion,becausethisbehaviourcanbeinterpretedasacriticismoftheirparents’wayoflife.However,providedthattheycontinuetoeathealthily,theparentsshouldnotraiseobjections,inmyopinion.Vegetarianismisavalidchoiceinlife.Moreover,researchshowsthatvegetarianstendtobehealthierinmanywaysthanmeat-eaters.Personally,Ithinkthatbeingavegetarianisagoodideainprincipleasthereareprovenhealthbenefitsandprobablysocialbenefitsaswell.However,itdoesnotsuiteverybody,andIdoubtwhetheritwilleverbeauniversalchoice.(330words)
